💙Thursday Thought – Becoming a Better Me
Bleu Bells, I’ve been asking myself: What if I focus on controlling what I can and let go of what I can’t? How do I become a better me when life throws me curveballs—like Sariah getting sick, debt piling up, or stress from work? The truth is, I can’t change those circumstances, but I can change how I respond. This week, I’m experimenting with a simple practice: breathing in, breathing out, and not letting stress completely cripple me. It’s a small step but a powerful one.
A day to remember FOREVER!!!!
Here’s my plan:
1. Use Mel Robbins’ 5-4-3-2-1 – The second I feel overwhelmed, I’ll count down and take action, rather than spiral.
2. Listen to My Audible Books – Instead of just jamming to music, I’m revisiting my favorite authors—Mel Robbins, Alex Hormozi, Valerie Burton—to rebuild my positive mindset.
3. Daily Check-Ins – Whether it’s Chill Hop in the background or a quick breathing exercise, I’m trying to be mindful of when stress flares up and course-correct right away.
By leaning into these habits, I aim to impact my relationships, my daughter’s life, and my own mental space positively. These are small steps, but each propels me toward becoming a better ShayBleu—and that’s a journey worth taking.
