💙 Bleu Thursday Thoughts 💙
Hey Bleu Bells,
Today was Sariah’s 4-month check-up, and while it was filled with milestones and happy moments, her pediatrician mentioned hearing a heart murmur. My heart skipped a beat, but it also sparked a powerful thought: What if I didn’t have insurance?
This might have gone undetected without access to regular check-ups and care, leaving her health unchecked. Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for my job, my life, and the ability to provide Sariah with health insurance through Kelsey Seybold and HISD. It’s a reminder of the privilege and responsibility of ensuring her well-being.
Sariah is thriving—she’s on track with her milestones and is the most beautiful baby in my world. 💖 I know she will be okay, and I’m choosing positivity over stress until there’s a real reason to worry.
This Thursday's thought is a reminder for all of us to take a moment to be grateful for the things we might overlook. Health, access to care, and the ability to keep our babies safe are blessings I’ll never take for granted.
