We made it to 12 weeks postpartum, and let me just say… what a journey it’s been! From juggling mommy life with Sariah to pushing through full-time work and creating content, finding time to work on my body has been a challenge. But y’all know me, I’m always looking for ways to stay committed and practice what I preach (even if it’s not 100% perfect every day).

✨ Let’s talk about the tools I’ve been using to help this body bounce back post-baby—my trusty Waist trainer and Faja! ✨

Now, let’s be real. My stomach still has a ways to go—it’s soft, puffy, and not where I want it to be. But that’s okay! This transformation isn’t about rushing the process but embracing where I am and doing the work to get where I want to be. Wearing a waist trainer and faja has helped me feel more confident while giving me little motivation to keep going.

The Hard Truth: It Takes Work

Let me keep it 100 with you, Bleu Bells—this shit is HARD. It takes dedication, discipline, and a willingness to try different things. And as a new mom, I just can’t do it all some days. Between diapers, feedings, work, and content creation, there are moments I feel completely tapped out. But I’m giving myself grace and focusing on doing the best I can 90% of the time. That’s the key—progress, not perfection!

Let’s Talk Real Results

While I love the help my waist trainer and Faja are giving me, I know this journey is more than just wearing shapewear. Here’s what else I’m doing to keep pushing toward my goals:

💧 Drinking Water – Hydration is EVERYTHING. It helps with bloating, skin, and overall energy.

🥗 Fasting & Nutrition – Fasting has been a game-changer for me. Less sugar, fewer carbs, and more protein is my mantra.

💪🏾 Ab Workouts – Even at home, I try incorporating at least 15-20 minutes of ab exercises.

🏋🏾‍♀️ Daily Movement – Whether it’s a quick 30-minute workout, a trip to the park, or some weights at the apartment gym, I’m committed to moving my body every day.

And let’s not forget—these tips are for everyone, whether you’re team waist trainer or not. You don’t need to wear a Faja or waist trainer if it’s not your thing. It’s all about finding what works for YOU. 💙

Why I’m Sharing This

I’m not suggesting that anyone go out and buy a waist trainer or faja; this is just what’s been working for me. I’m always open to trying new things as long as they do not harm my health. If you’re not into shapewear, there are still so many ways to work on your post-baby body—fasting, hydrating, working out, and eating right are great places to start. Remember, this journey looks different for everyone!

The Motivation Behind It All

This isn’t just about looking snatched—it’s about feeling good in my skin and showing Sariah what it means to love yourself, flaws and all. She’s my biggest motivation to keep going, and every time I look at her, I’m reminded why this journey is so worth it.
