The "Over It" Manifesto: Ditching the Bullshit and Embracing the Doer in You

Hey there, my brave tribe! πŸ’™

Today, we're addressing a sentiment many of us simmer in but rarely voice out loud – being wholly and utterly over it. Yes, you read that right. There comes a moment when the veil of pretenses falls off, and you see the shackles of excuses, procrastinations, and bullshit expectations for what they are – a stifling cage.

I found myself marinating in this storm of discontent, where my days were smeared with worries about things I had zero control over, and nights were a theater of should-have-been. My life resembled a broken record, a chorus of 'what ifs' and 'maybes' with a sprinkle of 'somedays'’ I was preaching about lifestyle habits to others while feasting on procrastination myself. The irony, right?

The scenery of fake endeavors in personal circles and at the workplace started to sicken me. Seeing leadership members shredding others to pieces while ducking in the face of real challenges was the daily drama. And oh, the grandiosity they paraded with, after snatching the credit for others' toil, was the cherry on top of this facade cake.

Here's the deal: I found myself in a loop of doing things to bag a 'reward'’ to get that nod of approval, the pat on the back. But who was I fooling? The reflection in the mirror started to blur. And then the money worries, oh the ceaseless torrent of money worries, from the whispers of debt to the haunting question of having kids amidst this financial turbulence. My mind was a battlefield with no victors, just casualties of peace and sanity.

But you know what? I'm over the shit. Over tiptoeing around fragile egos, over being a slave to procrastination, over being the person who's all talk and no action. Words are cheap; it's an action that's the royal currency.

So, I declare a massive FUCK IT to being over it. A grand goodbye to drowning in a sea of expectations, to waiting for the 'right moment” to let the whims of others dictate my pace. It's time to be the doer, the mover, the shaker. It's time to replace the endless chatter with a sweet symphony of action.

I'm done with the autobiography of woes and worries. It's time to write a new narrative of doing, being unapologetically me, and chasing the real over the facade.

And let's get real: it's not about being insensitive to others' feelings; it's about not letting the tornado of external expectations and internal procrastination ravage our essence. It's about breaking free from the clutches of complacency and embracing the raw, unfiltered, relentless version of ourselves.

So, dear tribe, if you find yourself on this boat, let's sail together into the realm of action, where words are superseded by deeds, where we're defined not by what we say we'll do but by what we do.

Let's farewell to the bullshit and welcome the era of unyielding action. Here’s to being fucking over it and dancing to the rhythm of our efforts.

Talent is something that cannot be attained naturally, but discipline is a trait that can be developed through persistence and action.
