Let’s get real: I want my body to look like Teyana Taylor’s. She’s got two kids, yet her abs look like the fitness gods carved them—and that’s all the motivation I need. I’m over complaining about my postpartum body, diastasis recti, and a physique I hardly recognize. Nothing changes if I don’t do the work.
But truth be told, I’d rather do anything else—cleaning, rearranging, filming Blue Drip content—than hit the gym. Then, a friend reminded me about Mel Robbins. I’d read her book before, but recently, I restarted the 5 Second Rule, and something clicked: if I want these results, I need to count down from 5 and move, whether I feel like it or not. Netflix isn’t gonna give me abs—action will.

If I’m serious about my transformation, I have to grind day in and day out, no excuses. Teyana didn’t get those abs by wishing; she earned them. Now it’s time for me to stop complaining, start listening to the 5 Second Rule daily, and just do the work.
